yea yea yea yea yea yea yea YEA

I just got back from seeing Watchmen and wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooah!

Special effects were amazing and, in general, I was just blown away. If you haven't seen it GO! Seriously, I want to do it again but I know I probably won't have time to fit in another viewing anytime soon. Won't say anything else 'cause I'm not the spoiling type but-

People! AMAZING!

I agree, for the most part. There were a few scenes that could have been shorter...like Hallelujah!Sex. The cast was pretty awesome though!

Yeah, that scene didn't fit right with me either. Wrong song! Honestly I thought it was over the top in the right way for the movie but the choice of song just made it, um, bad.

But I would have killed for her boots ;)

I had a hard time not laughing at that scene. It was just very awkward to watch.

Screw Silk Spectre, when I grow up I want to be as fierce as Silhouette.

So very very awkward with that song on. Not that it's not a love song, 'cause I think it's a beautiful one, but not a sex scene song.

I have not read Watchmen yet 'cause I wanted to enjoy it and not have it ruined by all the comparisons that would run though my head. But, since I knew I was seeing it this week I went ahead and ordered it from Amazon so low and behold I will know more about Silhouette than she was a hot chic that made out with a nurse and did other things....

I had read the book first and I still enjoyed the movie. I'd say 95% of the book is better but there are some things that just worked great on film. I'm sure you'll love the differences. :)

That does it.... I'm sooo seeing this movie and if that means leaving hubby behind, so be it. I've gone to the movies alone before... I can do it now too. He doesn't really care if he sees it.... can you believe that one? So, screw it.... LOL. And I'm still hoping to get the graphic novel for my birthday.... here's to hoping.

I find it hard to believe that any man would not want to see a comic movie. And the chicks are hot! Maybe he's heard about the extent you get to see Doctor Manhattan and he's a little intimidated? Sorry, I couldn't help that, blue naked man was a one of the better parts of that movie.

Yeah, totally go by yourself if that's what you have to do. Trevor wants to see it and I had to explain to him that it was not a kid's super hero movie. Since he enjoys comics it was hard to explain that not all were ok for kids.

I need a Watchmen icon... an ass kicking one!
