friend's cut

I've been thinking about this for a while and I think it's about time I do a friends cut. I hope this doesn't offend anyone but my flist is getting a bit long to read through and although I think all of you are awesome it just seems that I find myself skimming over more journals than I really read. I'm sure most of you do the same to me (I'm not looking for Oh! No I don't! I love to hear you whine about your X and your kid!). I know that for everyone on my journal at some point we were talking and probably had a lot in common but I've been on here for a few years and interests and people change.

*hugs*

Have not forgotten at all! You'll have it by Saturday night. Where do I send it?

Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DracoGinnyFanfic/

Select "Post" on the left hand side (it's underneath messages). Put "FICMAS: [Title, Rating, by Author]" in the subject head.

Then put:

FICMAS: Title
RATING: [Whatever it is]
DISCLAIMER: [Blah, blah, whatever]
NOTES; [If you have them]

And then post the fic into the body of the email. I think it should be easy but if you have problems let me know; also all the messages are on moderate--I have to approve them-- so if you really screw it up somehow (which I doubt) then I'll let you know.

This is probably really bad but I'm not sure how to post a something on a yahoo page. I mean to say that any italics that I write I put all the html in when I'm writing a story. Do I need to take that out and just do it in word before I send it?

All the HTML will disappear when you post from the Yahoo page. You could upload the file to the files section of the page, and then link to it in your post instead of posting it in the body of the message.
