New layout

I just re-did my journal. I got tired of the LJ pre-picked one. I'm not sure if I like the text I use for the headers and sidebars. I mean, I like it, but it may be too much, you know?

I'm feeling very girly recently, can ya'll tell?

ETA: Went through three more fonts and now I think I settled on this one for the headers and what-not. The other one was Curlz MT... and this is just me saying that because I have that font tatted on my ankle does not mean it's good for my LJ. Although, funny story... this one is tatted on my inner arm. I really love words.

Yay for snuggles!

I should really be doing some work, but...eh. Work's for sissy's, that's what I always say!*

I never got into reality TV, I like crazy surreal stuff so much better. And Christian Troy on Nip/Tuck. Yow!

Well, reality tv for me isn't a television staple for me, save the following:

ANTM
Project Runway
How To Look Good Naked
Tori and Dean: Inn Love (I know, but for some reason, I have taken a shine to these two-they're so freakin' cute!)

Annnd...not much else, really. I used to watch Survivor with a passion, as well as The Amazing Race, but no longer.

Mmmm, Christian Troy. Gotta love him. I think it was last Christmas when I was home, and I rented season one. I got through one disc, go out for a couple hours, only to find my family huddled around the tv, skipping ahead of me! Ugh. Needless to say, I never got to catch up, or finish season one. Silly fam.

YOU MUST WATCH IT!

OMFG! Nip/Tuck owns me SO HARD...

as hard as Doctor Who but in that porn way :D

Oh FOR SURE in the porn way. I mean, there's nudity in practically every scene!

I started re-watching it when they were airing it last year here in Canada, but it was like, season...three? Kimbers was out of the picture, but talking to the son who looks all make-uppy and tried to circumsise himself in season one about scientology.

I can't remember what else happened after that, really...and I never found out who the-oh crap, what was the killer's name? The Scapulator? Blah. Anyway, killer person was uber creepy.

THAT was season four you caught up on. The Carver is vintage seasons 2-3.

And I love Kimber. She's more complex than most of the characters on that show.

Oh god, I loved her hair! That short curly 'do? What I aspire to have, really. Sometimes I do, but it really comes and goes. Especially now that my hair is growing out. Hello hair cut at christmas.

Ahhh, the Carver. Part of me questions whether serial killers would actually wear masks when they're so sure the people who see them are about to die. I mean, no witnesses, right? But the whole identity thing could come into account, I suppose...and the whole not letting the audience watching know thing works too. Heh.

He didn't kill them, he would rape them and then slit their faces open. He has a myspace, but don't go to it until you finish season 3 because it shows you who The Carver is.

Yeah, Kimber is hella beautiful... full stop.

Oh yeah...of course. I remember now, Sean and Christian commenting on how The Carver was creating more business for them...except, of course, they would help the victims pro bono.

Ahhh, Kimber. Gorgy. Never understood why that British woman was suddenly brought into that relationship...ugh, she was soo annoying.

Have you seen The Number 23? Brit chic was in it too. Still annoying.

BLAH. She's just so...Liz Hurley wannabe. Ugh.

Also, re: The Carver. Him, along with Dexter, and the numerous criminals the CSI: Miami gang (eugh) round up, Miami looks really dangerous. Like, part of me ends up mixing real world and tv world, so at random times when people mention Miami out of the blue I go 'oh, don't go there, it's dangerous'

I say it like it's a fact. Like I've seen it on the news or something. Which is ridonkulous.

haha! I know people that live there and I hear it isn't the safest but...

I haven't seen Dexter but I like the plot outline. Is it any good?

Well, obvo nowhere is the safest place, but the way I've gone on about it in the past, I end up describing how it's full of serial killers.

OMG WATCH DEXTER NOW YES. Eckhem. I mean, it's really super duper good. Season one is on dvd now, and well, it's really good. And you know how season two for a lot of shows end up crap? Well so far, season two has lived way up to expectations...it's so scary, too. Eee! I told my mum to get it, and she said my brother started to watch the first episode, but had to walk out of the room due to serial killer-ness. Heh. Poor boo boo.
