local "art"

Right around the corner from my job there is some really awesome graffiti. I took pics ages ago but forgot to post them. Well, walking by today something was added so here's the old pics and the new one from today. Just some random art that I ♥

The full thing from across the street. As far as I can tell this is an empty building.

Several close ups of different parts

And the new addition

Something really cool to- about a month ago I started taking evening primrose oil vitamins once a day 'cause they're supposed to level out your hormones. Today was the first day of my period and low and behold no nausea and no cramps. Also, I tried to think back and there were no pms fits that I can think of. Every month I usually have all the signs in the world that its coming, but this time I didn't even notice. :D

a personal gripe; not pertaining to you.
I can honestly say, that while I am a fan of graffiti in general, I really fucking hate when people tag/bomb or do anything having to do with "urban art" in the French Quarter. News flash! Those buildings are, for the most part, hundreds of years old. Have a little respect for history. And besides, it will most likely be covered up by the grey ghost thus adding another disgusting layer of paint to what was a picture-esque building. Leave the hi-jinks to the decrepit warehouse district and the train yards.

Re: a personal gripe; not pertaining to you.
This has been up for about two months now, honestly I don't know why it hasn't been covered yet. Also, the bird was painted somewhere else and added on, it's not painted on the building. I want to find out who owns the building 'cause (with the exception of the tape right under the address) everything else is on the windows and easily removed. Plus the bird is on a spot that was already messed up to begin with. In gerneral I don't see that much graffiti in the quarter. Although, there has been more and more stuff on windows lately.
