Want to hear something entertaining? I'm making Chex Mix. I've never made Chex Mix. Did anyone else know you actually have to cook this shit for an hour? It's something for the kid's 100th day at school tomorrow and he was assigned to bring a large bag which is all fine and dandy but Target only had the small personal sized ones. So I decided to make it.

I don't even like Chex Mix, and neither does the kid.

In other news I dropped the online class. For a survey of American Lit I he was requiring us to read waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much stuff. Like 38 chapters of a text translated from spanish, and three other things for the first week. Everything that he assigned for us to read for the first month was things online 'cause the excerpts in the book weren't good enough. I overheard two other girls talking about it in my American Lit II class and butted in. Apparently I wasn't the only one with that view and these two girls dropped the class as well.

Also, I don't think I'll even have to open my book for American Lit II for a few weeks since everything he's having us read I've done before on my own time or in a previous class. He barely even talks about the texts we're reading, he talks more about what was going on at that time in history. I'm taking an American History class to coincide with this period, I don't need to hear it twice. I understand knowing what the circumstances surrounding the piece are important but we should have spent more than fifteen minutes of a hour and fifteen minute class talking about the story itself. Frustrated people, FRUSTRATED!

The timer just went off. I have to go stir the Chex Mix. Grrrrrrrrr.....

Who knew you had to cook Chex Mix. BTW, I don't like Chex Mix either... =/

And WOW! No wonder you dropped the course! That's a lot of reading... too much if you ask me. I'd be right there with you. There's no way I could do all that in that short amount of time. EEEP!

It was a revelation in life I tell you!

Considering that w/o the online course I'm taking 13 hourse I figured I already had enough on my plate as it was. I could handle the 38 chapters if it wasn't the most boring piece of work I think I've ever come across. It was horrible.....

*hot icon btw*

That is WAY too much reading for an online course. Sounds like this professor is expecting you all to be Super Students on top of everything else in your lives.

Also, that's a whole freakin lot of reading! I hate lit classes
